Postage At Gear4Caravans

To make our postage costs and services transparent and simple to understand, we have broken it down into three options

Royal Mail

For small items, that fit within the Royal Mail postage service guidelines, we offer a £3.95 First Class postage option. (We are unable to guarantee next day delivery on this service.)

Next Day

Our most popular, and most used postage facility is the Next Day* service. This costs £5.95 and offers a next day delivery service *if the item is ordered and paid for before 12 Noon, Mon-Fri. This will offer you tracking codes to see where your item is, along with SMS and e-mail updates.

Overweight / Large Parcels 48Hr

Items that go over 35KG and or over a certain size will be charged at £8.95. Please add products to your basket, and see the associated shipping costs in the checkout section.

Motor Mover Delivery 3 Working Days

All motor movers are charged at £9.95 and may take up to 3 workings days.

Our delivery timescales are based upon standard working days (Monday - Friday). Orders placed on a weekend will be processed the following Monday and subject to the same delivery timescales as an order placed on the Monday morning. For instance an order placed on Saturday for Next Day Delivery will be processed on Monday for delivery on the Tuesday.

Highlands & Islands Delivery

Postcodes: AB, IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE, BT, IM, TR21-25, EH49, EH51, FK1-8 (includes all Isles of Scilly and Isle of Man) all parcels will be charged at £19.95.

Please note, all postage options are automated through the checkout system, and we (currently) cannot amend this to offer slower or faster delivery per product directly through the Gear4Caravans website. If you have some specific requirements and/or need something delivering faster than advertised, please call us on 0800 975 6155 and we will do anything possible to attend to your needs.


Any unwanted item can be returned within fourteen days of receipt for a full refund of the original purchase price (excluding postage and packing charges).

The item should be complete and unused in its original unopened packaging and a returns authorisation should be obtained beforehand. Please do not return the item without a Returns Authorisation Number.

If an item is faulty please contact us for a Returns Authorisation number and we will ask you to either post the item back to us or we will arrange a courier to collect the item.

Upon receipt, the item will be tested and if found to be faulty will be replaced or refunded (in full including return postage costs originally borne by you).

If the item is found not to be faulty you will be given the option of having the item returned to you at your cost or a refund (less 25% restocking charge and all postage costs).

Backorders & Supplier In Stock Notices

From time to time we may sell out of items within our physical shop, however, this does not stop you buying and receiving that item! We operate a backorder facility with our suppliers, so as soon as you place the order a note is sent to our suppliers to release that stock to us as soon as possible. We tend to have the stock delivered to us, rather than shipped to you directly from the manufactuere.. Why? So we can make sure the product is up to standard and in good condition, for you. We take your order & payment, then confirm with our suppliers when we expect to receive the item. We then send over information and a date to you, in regards to this. At that point you do have the opportuinity to just leave the order and receive the item in X days or cancel the order and receive a refund
